TAVI

The Hill Top Residence is situated on a 1-acre site in an environmentally sensitive habitat with dense vegetation and large boulders. Within the wild surroundings sits a 3,000 sf residence built from an industrial kit of parts, designed by Barton Myers Associates.

 

The landscape takes its cues from the built and natural surroundings, clipped hedges and crisp paving at the nucleus, dithering into the native landscape at the edges. The project uses board-formed concrete walls, corten planters and rough Cedar wood gates.

 

Tavi Perttula was the lead Landscape Designer and Project Manager while employed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios.
